Maggie,
Sorry for the late comment. I am working part time. Your website is great. It is coherent and understandable.
How about your rationale? I can not finish that, I think!

Debra give us an e-mail.

Here I will give you more suggestions. I think one sentense is not enough. Mmmm, Your page is so full, I would think your students will get puzzled, how about create some more greamweaver!
Your content is fine.

Thanks for your suggestions. Actually, I don't understand your point that "one sentence is not enough", could you please expain it a little bit? Thanks!

Create some more dreamweaver? good idea! For me, I think that is enough.

Cheers

Hi Maggie

I really liked your website,it is really amazing. However I would suggest the following:
- You need to help student search by giving them some specific websites to read, You gave too many websites which may confuse the students.
- It is nice to give some animation but too many will distract students from focusing on doing activities.
- You can put some home buttons in your activities to make it easy for students to navigate in your website.
- I think you need to give some more clues for the crossword because I found it difficult, perhaps you need to give some statements to make it easy for students to answer.
Generally speaking, your website is effective , it is organized well, your tasks are purposeful.Just to bear in mind that the comments I gave are only suggestions and reflect my opinion. Therefore, it might not match yours, so think about them critically. Finally, I am looking forward for your critical reflection for my website.
Good Luck!

Thanks Zahran

To tell the truth, I like your critical points. They can give me an insight in improving my product and writing my rationale. You suggest a good point, I didn't realize that the crossword is so hard for foreign students or native-speakers. I think it's quite easy for Asian students.
Only 12 animals' name, some students may think it's not a big challenging job for them if I add clues. You're right, we are sharing our opinions and giving comments are appricated. No absolutely right and wrong answer.
You comments will make me more motivated and work harder. Hope for next time. HaHa!

Thanks again!

Hi Maggie,

Your website is cool. You also have two listening practices (dialogues) for the learners. I like the mixed-up sentence exercises you designed because the photos and pictures you put on them make the learning more amusing.

Hi Maggie

About the rationale: just imagine that you are giving these tasks in class on paper. How will these activities help your learners learn language? Will they learn something more than just language proficiency ie. autonomy?

About your project: I like the way it relates to your webquest.

However, I am distracted by all the animation, too many things moving. I believe it should only move, it is needs to draw attention to that spot.

Also, as a learner, I would prefer the crossword clues to all be visible not only when you click on the number. That way, I can scan the clues for something I know the answer to as a way of getting started.

I don't like the way the learner has to keep switching between the reading and the cloze exercise or quiz. I lose track. Did you know that you can insert a reading text, just go into file menu in your hot potatoes activity eg. cloze. You could write a simple text of your own that has all the answers in it rather than students having to do a lot of reading. If they have to read alot, they might lose interest in the activities and not have as much fun.

I look forward to hearing your comments on my project.

Hi Maggie,

Thank you for trying to give me some comments. Because Karen just kindly reminds me that some links on my website have some inappropriate advertisements. I found I didn't notice that. Therefore, I want to edit my content a little bit and try to upload it again within these days.

Cheers!

Yes, Karen was right! One link couldn't work and some of them created minor problems. Why can you remove your project so quick? My house is far awya from school, I can't do it ASSP. Anyway, will give you feedback later! Look forward to seeing your website again.
